“This is America; you can have all-wheel-drive AND winter tires.”
Finally. Get me the fuck outta here.
Just replace the word “bling” with “shrapnel” LOL
I mean, technically yes?
On The Smoking Tire’s podcast, he said the reason was because it took forever to get the door replaced thanks to parts shortages, not because it was too big. He didn’t want to risk damaging another part and having the car sit for months waiting for it.
Low Hanging Fruit.
I’ll buy it just to have sex parties in the church part.
PUT FUCKING HVAC KNOBS IN IT YOU FUCKING DIPSHITS
No kidding. I’d be surprised if most Gen Z’ers even know who he is.
According to Matt Farrah, there are like 15 total Mclaren keys for all the cars they’ve built since the MC4-12C came out. Obviously, different because we’re talking software vs hardware, but still interesting how limited car security can be nowadays even though there’s clearly better way they could be doing it.
Great channel, deserves the recognition!
He’s not wrong to be mad. Look at Aston. They did what everyone eventually does after a big rule change and copied the best design. If Merc had done that, they’d be fighting for at least second, not fucking around as the 4th (for now) best car.
When they revealed the car in testing I surmised that Merceds was either going to flounder again, or they would be a second faster that anyone else. Turns out it was the former. They clearly think they have an ace up their sleeves with the design, but it turns out they just straight up don’t.
Ford is getting caught with their pants down (not sure why it took Jalopnik a week to write about this, it’s been all over social media sites), but every self driving capable car company will have the ability to do the same thing.
Would it be better with a turbo and a manual?
Why get a patent now? GM has always sold:
Yikes.
I feel like every car guy has an epiphany one day where they realize that, much like women dressing up is actually for other women, men put in a lot of time and effort on their cars to impress other dudes.
A decent version of my first car. 1991 Civic EX sedan. Manual. White over blue.
