this “one last year” hasn’t been that successful. He quit, as per an agreement - and then backed out of the agreement. Seems pretty hurtful to me. And if the genders were reversed, and someone made an agreement to their SO that they were going to invest in their family, quit their job and then went “NEVERMIND!” I

“It’s not that Daddy doesn’t love you, I just love football more. Maybe because it doesn’t let me down, unlike you and your siblings.”

“...who will continue to be the center of our world in every way.”

If she’d voluntarily told him she would, and there was a near-term drop-dead date on that career, then yeah she’d be just as big an asshole.

Well, yeah - shouting “where’s Nancy??” while attacking her husband is a pretty clear indicator that it was politically motivated. Absolutely horrifying.

its a shame that he was willing to sacrifice his family for his ego.

This collection of sites has walked both sides of this situation. Jez says things, The Root says something opposite. At the end of the day, neither of these individuals did or said the correct things. It’s a toxic relationship that now we all get to suffer through...who do I get to sue for the National News coverage?

Yeah, I don’t think there is an easy answer for the case. It’s a modern version of the Julia Wallace case (though not quite as confounding IMO). The documentary is sympathetic to Peterson in that he granted them access the prosecution never would have, and the egregious misconduct by the prosecution speaks for itself.

Ugh. He didn’t do anything anymore than Steve Jobs or Elizabeth Holmes did.

Holy shit, the Musk stans in the greys are absolutely fucking hilarious. This guy is the most prolific - here’s just a taste:

TechCrunch pointed out this morning that Musk signed a non-disparagement agreement when he put in his offer, and it’s increasingly evident that he either doesn’t know what that means or lacks impulse control. He’s clearly trying to drive down the stock price so he can renegotiate, but I hope Twitter holds the line and

It’s been said a thousand times; just because he has money doesn’t make him smart.  Dude’s a dipshit.

If HBO really wanted to tell a salacious tale about romance between the accused and the documentarian, an unscrupulous lawyer using a documentary to sway future juries, and hardcore ass-eating, then they should have come up with their own plot instead of ripping it off a sober and non-sexy documentary.

I wonder if they’re lowballing the salary because they’re looking for a certain type of person from a certain upper class part of society who doesn’t need it for the money, but wants it for the connections to royalty/nobility, as well as the potential prestige for future opportunities?

That’s...that’s not what blackmail is.

Because we’d wait until he wins his primary, it’s in the best interest of the GOP for his opponent to make the general since they theoretically have fewer skeletons in the closet.

If he keeps this up, it'll soon be illegal to say his name in Florida schools.

Yes. Why do they have to complicate something that is so simple and so beneficial to womens health?
