If DRM isn’t hurting my ability to play the game, then I’m fine with it. Always online bullshit of stuff where I don’t even interact online in the game is what ticks me off.

The best? Before it was put in its place, Apple tried to claim it’s illegal to use software they don’t approve of on the devices you paid for. Some of their rabid fans defended them with EULA nonsense and how it’s not your OS, but the law put an end to that nonsense.

Raising tribal hordes looks complicated, but I can’t wait to get the silk road up and running because I can see it on my non-Horse Lord version of the game, which is just about everything they have put out.

I’ll be picking up the Horse Lords expansion and content because I’ve been waiting for it to go on sale for a while. Forgot there was another expansion afterwards with Conclave, but I’ll probably hold off on it for now until I get used to Horse Lords ruling the Silk Road.

Agree.

I am torn about this. On the one hand it would be great if we could focus on actual policy issues; on the other, I agree with what I heard Barney Frank say recently: You have a right to privacy, but not hypocrisy.

Provided the rumor is about something consensual, then yes, I agree. I also do not want to know anything about Ted Cruz’s sex life. Just writing “Ted Cruz’s sex life” (twice now) makes me want to hurl.

Not to be a huge downer (which means I’m about to be a downer) but I’m glad they don’t mention what the rumor was.

I think this guy needs to log off for a while

Women in the Pokemon universe have to deal with street harassment from men and Pikachus? Probably get told if they didn’t like it they should wear Repel all the time.

So does this mean that this Pikachu actually doesn’t talk, but instead it’s Tim Goodman who speaks Pokemon?

Look, I know you think that the HVAC system is an IT issue because it uses electricity, but this is a Facilities issue. Please stop submitting tickets for this.

For me at least, I think the difference would be if it was my grandmother vs. my fiance’s. I’d totally be okay saying something to someone in my own family, where I think (unfortunately!) I’d hesitate to say something to a relative of his.

Meh. I’m the black wife of a white woman and the American side of her family (we’re Canadian, but she has an American branch) are, as she says, “straight up white trash”.

They view their lesbian relatives as a species of exotic pet (not offensive, but you know, weird); and this is an improvement (!), but are the worst

This was my initial thought as well. She wants to avoid the whole visit... of course she should be unavailable. Stay home, catch up on your Netflix, hire someone to come to house and do all those stupid chores your husband says that he will get to, but never does, make whatever you want for dinner. Why go to the

Yup. If it’s a once-yearly out-of-state visit? “Sorry, but [wife] has to work. Her boss is awful! I hate it too!” Lather, rinse, repeat.

I am from the South so the whole peach thing was understandable to me. It’s a Southern colloquialism, not a nickname. That being said, leave the colloquialisms at home when you’re starting a new job. Once your coworkers get to know you well they’ll look at them as an endearing quirk if you have a good working

“Be a peach” isn’t really a nickname in this case, is it? It’s just an old saying, like “be a dear” or “do me a solid.” I wouldn’t expect someone to call me “solid” after doing whatever they requested lol.

agreed, but i also took “be a peach” ( like hey dont be a painetc) as a turn of phrase as opposed to a straight up nickname. i think age also has to do with it too. ive seen older women able to call younger people that are in charge of them by nicknames but only if its obvious its in their nature, or call everyone
