I’m throwing hands after that

Just FYI, income tax was also sold as “hey we are only going to do this to really rich people, you have nothing to worry about”. Also, other countries have absolutely raided retirement accounts.

Paying tax on money you haven’t received is a horrible idea and if you think they wont use this as an excuse to raid the middle class you are clueless.

I feel your pain. I had a 3800 V6 do the same to me about 200 miles from my destination while driving through North Carolina :(

Obligatory:

Ethereum has also shifted to a proof-of-stake position, so mining is limited to those coins that demand mining, aka Bitcoin.

Avalanche (AVAX) is a proof of stake crypto so there is no mining involved like for Bitcoin that is a proof of work crypto like you are describing.

On the list of bad anti-union tactics, claiming that a sleazy union known for its management taking bribes and screwing over its members was taking bribes and screwing over its members selectively based on who was doing the bribing does not seem that far fetched. Sounds more like GM didn't have necessary proof.

Sounds like his area of expertise was...

Yeah, a big, resolute “no” from me. I mean, I have a hard time paying Microsoft for Office 365 (but at least it gives me the entire suite PLUS a ton of storage and access to other MS stuff), but for my car? If I’m paying a subscription, I may as well lease the thing.

The list of things they could have done better that aren’t difficult is endless:

It’s very sad to me as someone who grew up in a GM family, whose first 4 vehicles were all GM, and who still has a soft spot for them today, to admit that the only vehicles they make that I have any interest in are the C8 and CT5-V (maybe a Suburban), and that there is little prospect of that changing.

sniffer test? Sure maybe 10 years ago. Now they plug into OBDII (or whatever the lastest is) and there is a visible check for presence of a cat. It took 2 guys like 5 minutes to find the cat on one of my cars. They wouldn’t let me get out of the car to show them where it was.

Except nobody does sniffer tests anymore. They plug into the OBD

Yeah, I’m going to try to go to the Holley event, too. That seems more like a track day kind of thing, I’m not sure what it’ll be. It’s the weekend after Radwood LA, so I’ll probably camp my way up the coast, and go back south for Autopia.

As a fellow cyclist, this is why I’m starting to avoid road biking. Luckily I have a bike trail near my house, but I don’t trust drivers anymore. Either they are distracted or assholes to cyclists. No need to try to kill cyclists since they are making you to get somewhere slower. We take up the lane for our safety.

It’s not his responsibility to be giving individual feedback to teachers, unless he’s doing evaluations. In 11 years I’ve never once received feedback from a head principal, only from the ones assigned to my department. And how tf can he be accused of teaching CRT when he’s not in a classroom? Just come out and say

My partner took his brand new C8 to VIR to run some laps and proceeded to run out of gas. It was stuck in drive and they had no way to tow it. The incident took a half hour and people were quite unhappy.

Good article about what is going on.
