When I finally got to the point to fire up the current engine in my Firebird, I was nervous. Since it is a crank driven oil pump you have to crank it and let it prime, well I fired it up, 10 seconds no oil pressure on the cluster yet. Panicking, I shut it down.

I saw a lot of posts about dealers getting a customer to put down a deposit on a C8, then when the car arrives they want the customer to pony up a $20k markup.

A very small select few dealerships will let you bypass the PDI process and it usually comes down to you knowing the big bosses really, really fucking well.

Some collectors like to take these things home as they were delivered off the truck from the factory, delivery wheels, wrapping, plastics, spring stoppers, air dam…

Mitigates the risk of somebody trying to claim the accident happened somewhere else or going to/from the event.  People have been dropped after just asking if they offer any motorsport or performance driving event coverage.

I’ve seen people get dropped by Geico because some agent saw pics on their facebook profile of them running their car in an autocross event.
