This thing is quite the experience just on the engine dyno. Can’t wait to see how fast this thing rips on the track!
Moved from TES Performance which is a local speed shop to Scoggin Dickey Parts Center which is a large parts warehouse. Still doing the social media stuff, just not as many complete cars to shoot here since it’s more focused on slinging parts.
I’m also one of the server golems that take care of the website, adding…
It’s pretty wild in person, would love to hear the Hellephant one day, but it won’t be through my own funding lol!
Made some solid gains over the stock trim on race gas. We added an upper and lower pulley, offroad connecting pipes, fuel system and E85 to give it a good bump.
Stock w/ MS109 on the H.O. Button: 708 whp, 700 ft/lbs
Modded on E85 on the H.O. Button: 855 whp, 905 ft/lbs
For reference, stock Hellcats tend to do around…
Lotta work went into this build. Hopefully the owner can get it out to a few 1/2 mile events this next year.
Especially when customers can’t understand anything outside of Forza.
Not a common thing to have an RX-7 in the shop, let alone one with a full cage. Some of our lead guys couldn’t fit in the car, except for myself and the guy tuning it in the video. I reaaally didn’t want to get out of the car, very very nice setup.
Trying a few new things, still very much an amateur at this working…
Had a blast, got some more experience with the car, identified both my weak spots and things the car could greatly use in the future.
Somebody is full on power tripping.
Let the parts pile begin!
This thing rolled 1000 miles on the odometer when it pulled into the shop. Came in for an upper, lower, and injectors. This thing will really wake up with an E85 setup and a good intake as the stocker is pretty restrictive.
Put down 610 stock on the dyno, left with almost 200whp more!
Drove down to Mineral Wells from Lubbock with a car loaded down with my trackday wheels, jack, tools, and all the other necessities. Came back with a trailer that I’d arranged to buy beforehand.
Needs new tint, badly.
First generation F-bodies are like a blank canvas. You can go about your build a variety of ways which allows for some very unique outcomes. This car is custom tailored to meet and even exceed what the owner envisioned.
Was a late night having to reshoot this one. All the first shots came out completely unusable. Finally crawled into bed at 4am lol.
Another lunch break photo session!
This one came in with a scattered rotating assembly, full longblock and over $20k later, it’s back on the streets.
Guys went to lunch so I had about 30 minutes before they got back so I could shut the lights off and have my way with a Mustang. It doesn’t have an engine/trans in it right now, but wanted to get some transition pictures of it as the project goes on.
It was done in a bit of a hurry and I’m still trying to improve on…
We will be getting this back in the shop for maintenance and upgrades for the 2018 season. I’m pretty excited to have this beast back in the stables!
Finally got the video up! I have links to my facebook page/instagram/bitchin’ t-shirt and stuff in the description as well as the pdf.
Got to wrench on the car for the first time in awhile last night. Felt good. I frigging love lifts. Quiet night in the shop and we had an open bay after sending a few cars home to their owners after dyno tuning was done.
