I could do a crap ton of pushups when I was in 7th grade, I had the most for a girl in my class. But by the time the test came around the next year, I’d grown boobs and I couldn’t do push-ups to save my life. I guess all the muscle turned into breast tissue. :p

They used to make us (icky boys) run bleachers.

“The only way they know about me is my political work, my public work”

I will never forget being shamed for having the shortest sit-and-reach. Someone has to have the shortest.

He reportedly drinks a dozen Diet Cokes a day, ordered using a button on his desk.

We, as a country, definitely need to do something for health care but I don’t have the foggiest idea of what would work and I don’t think anyone else on Earth does either

That’s why I skimmed the article quickly and said “if true” even that seemed too ridiculous. I don’t put much past this administration as their propensity to lie over small insignificant issues (especially ones that affect Trump’s feefees) but that seemed so sloppy and obvious my BS alert was going off.

To be fair, that picture was digitally manipulated, according to Snopes. But it’s not far off.

Yeah, I was too young to follow all of it, honestly. I only heard about this stuff years later.

Yeah, I think the thing that has always thrown me off about the Woody Allen allegations, more so than anything else, is that there is just one. Now, that doesn’t mean there are no other victims...but with the #MeToo movement, I feel like he would be one of the first people to get hit.  I think it usually takes one

That’s pretty much where I fall. Woody Allen is creepy, but I don’t know if Dylan Farrow’s suffering comes from being abused by Woody, by Mia, maybe a mix of both, I don’t know. Honestly, I feel like other creepy stuff should have discouraged actresses from working with him without this.

Uh-huh, yeah. He’s trying to “let it die” (as if it were a passive operation), and has explicitly said so.

Fair point, but I think it cost them in the midterms and in 2012, when the Dems couldn’t point to a track record of real justice being applied to the bankers. Fines are nice but even those came from account holders and shareholders, not from the people who committed the fraud. If the execs themselves had had to pay,

Haha, yes they do. Bernie lost the nomination in large part bc he didn’t care about the older black women voting in the south for Hillary. It was shocking how many Bernie tools dismissed those voters as not knowing what’s good for them when the fact is, they remembered Hillary working as a lawyer for the poor in the

I think he, on some level, actually raises a valid point. Honestly, I don’t care that actors are renouncing Woody Allen, because who gives a shit. And while I think that Woody Allen is likely guilty, I think he is right in that we should consider that he might be innocent.

The point is, they didn’t want him but he got elected anyway. To be honest, I don’t think most of them will support his re-election, even though he’s made them rich. Plenty will, too many will, but rich people don’t like having a sweaty dumb ox in charge of things that can ultimately hurt them.

So now one of the other Farrow siblings, Moses Farrow, is taking Woody’s side; and providing first hand accounts of how Mia Farrow beat him; and he states that Dylan Farrow confided in him that Mia was coaching/instructing her to lie about Woody’s alleged abuse as part of the child custody proceedings back in 1993.

It’s really straightforward if you remember what *45 was before he became the president. All he used to be was a “celebrity.” A crass, tactless, rough-around-the-edges inheritance/trust-fund baby and daddy’s-boy wannabe, dabbling in businesses he never understood but coasting on enough privilege and hand-me-down cash

Cheeto’s usefulness didn’t extend beyond marginal ability to hold a pen and scrawl.

The way I live - slowly and without purpose.
