The most significant thing in that setup is the large raise in height from the stand. Monitor position is the single largest issue for ergonomics and neck and back pain. Looking down at a laptop screen is pretty much the worst way to work.

No even on a table it’s not ideal.

Fortunately you heat aircraft, easiest solution would be to go on a very long very cold flight without any passengers. Don’t know how they react to pressure either, so a nice high very cold low oxygen flight will kill nearly anything.

BA is crap these days, half their aircraft are so dated they are lucky they are airworthy. Honestly other than nostalgia and the range of airports they cover I don’t know why anyone still flies them.

I think the general point is ergonomically unless you have something wrong with you it isn’t an ideal. Unless your back and neck is already in a pretty rotten state regularly using a laptop like that will cause you long term issues and pain eventually.

IT basically means you could see his holster under his shirt.

He was carrying with a belt holster with spare mags. That’s going to be very obvious.

It’s probably worth updating this now that body cam video has been released.

Depends what you are eating and where you get it, most countries still grow the more transportable varieties so they aren’t as good as you can get.

Farm stands aren’t really well regulated, I always find them weird places when you have areas that aren’t going to naturally have those types of vendors. In reality they are just markets and it’s a just marketing to call them farm stands/markets.

Depends on your definition of first world. The usual differentiator is the price, something is always in season somewhere, how much it costs to get to you though varies.

Costcos financials don’t really back that up though. They are public, go take a look.

Costcos reported profits are actually about $600M dollars?

Not everything is huge in costco. You do occasionally get stuff cheaper, but generally it’s a cheaper alternative. I usually find costco stuff is better quality so it’s less of a false economy than buying cheap elsewhere.

They make a lot more on membership than on the products, if membership revenue goes down prices go up or they need to cut benefits of employees. So they won’t make money either way.

To be fair you can usually get pretty much all your groceries at Costco, they sell enough in smaller quantities it can work out well. I never intentionally buy anything non perishable anywhere other than Costco.

How are you going to know that? You only have a sample of one.

Maybe, but most of those can be pretty easy and accurate with basic maths and string. Really the benefits of string and cordage for measuring things is heavily under rated.

If you need to measure something why would you use the app? You know it’s not full proof, so if I want a rough measurement why wouldn’t I just use my own eyes and make a call. If I want an accurate measurement then I wouldn’t use an app in a month of Sundays.

Not really its core to the point.
