Yeah, my times worth a lot more than that. I would have to travel way more(already do a fair bit) and I would have to be paid a lot less to make all that worth it.

Why assume that? I would assume if they did they would mention it.
Legally it has to, real libraries also discriminate based on age and merit. So the argument that it’s a library breaks down, also the mechanics of how some libraries do work is actually quite similar, librarians are pretty constant everywhere, but the model libraries work under isn’t.
I think it’s pretty smart, they simultaneously secure the advantage of having an open market that can then be very clearly and unambiguously policed for illegal content; and removes liability from their part as they aren’t in the decision loop for a product.
I think its that the only person that decides what is basic standards of human decency is the individual buying the product. The basic standard of morality are things that are illegal, everything else is personal choice.
You are betting on the universe working against you. This is a fundamental rule, the universe will always work against you.
Have you tried adjusting the settings for graphics, I really wouldn’t say Skylines is a bad looking game and sim city 2013 wasn’t really pushing any boundaries. It’s a little less cartoony than 2013, but that’s art style more than quality.
Just to point out that GDPR isn’t that complicated, it is very comprehensive. It’s only complicated if you don’t follow the advice of your regulator or if you don’t want to follow that advice.
R$4 seems pretty reasonable and about 50% in tax sounds like a pretty low number honestly, a lot of countries have much higher duties and given the scale of the road network that seems a reasonable number.
Indeed there are examples of US companies and engineers that are leading players in safety engineering. BUT that doesn’t make a culture, for a safety culture to be present it has to permeate EVERY industry, that just isn’t the case as the laws and regulations in the US don’t support that, and in some cases work…
Part of that’s also a cultural issue, honestly developing this technology in the US is a big part of the issue. It should really be being worked on in countries that have better safety cultures and regulation to encourage good practice, the US just generally has more issues on this and other fields because it’s safety…
The only real part of the British Monarch being fucked up is the shit it imposes on Royals themselves, they don’t get a choice in how they are raised and while they can leave when adults they still have to live in it until majority. It in practice is a working check and balance on government at the end of the day,…
There is nothing wrong with approximations in a historical adaptation within the limits of the medium. There is a slight difference between that and portraying the socio-economic, racial and gender politics of the day inaccurately.
He repaid trust by being the most popular and respected President of the United States in living memory, he actually brought credibility back to the United States on the international stage.
Well I get it with my bank account rather than my credit card, flat fee for a better rate of interest and a bunch of insurance packages.
Travel insurance is VERY cheap, and as you mention often comes included with other products, mines comes with my bank account along with a bunch of other forms of insurance. I’m actually in the green on all those policies having had several claims on them.
This was the reason my first daily driver was an XC90 and the one after that a Jag. To be fair I used a lot more public transport and foot power than most simply because circumstances allowed it. But it really did make a lot more sense, plus you honestly drive less like an idiot when the vehicle your driving is way…
To be fair this is why a lot of countries have measures to make these cars less common. You go to a lot of places in Western Europe and the average age of a car is pretty low. While car manufacturers like cars being recycled rather than resold as it means more money, it does also make everyone safer.
I used to with my old employer, but I’m public sector now, so gold plated pension, but no nice extras! Flipside is my personal package covers work trips.
Dont know about you but I can’t fork out 100s in unexpected travel costs on the drop of a hat. I’ve spent more on travel related unexpected costs than I ever have on home related issues. If I get ill or injured abroad or even just opposite side of the country I certainly can’t afford an unexpected extra several…
