So now your perpetual victim complex is so bad that you somehow made the murder of a child about yourself, huh? Will you guys ever find the low, or just keep sinking forever?

Czuba previously had a friendly relationship with the family and even built Wadea a treehouse on the property” but then he listened to conservative radio, and here we are. If you ever listen, they love to talk about how Democrats are destroying the country, but I guarantee they’re silent about this.

It’s entirely appropriate that a glowing review of Season 2 only brings up Rand in the context of not being “the character who had the most compelling journey across season two,” as a childhood sweetheart to Egwene, as “believed dead,” and as being “included” in having a “fated showdown.”

All those references are true,

Just so delighted to have Rom and Leeta back. Bless this show.

On top of the scheme itself, it was nice to see that Rom and Leeta are full-on partners in crime hustlingpolitics here, building on their old reputation and skills, respectively, to work the admiral. That Freeman catches up to them also continues an understated progression of her character this year compared to Season

LEETA?!?!

What makes it all the more galling is how ballsy the decision to make TNG (almost) entirely TOS-character-free was. All the current live-action shows have fallen into such a trap of playing-it-safe and it sucks.

That’s quite a hot take you have there. Luckily a trip over to the FoundationTV subreddit shows you are in the minority and most book readers are enjoying the show - while accepting it’s not a straight adaption of the material

I don’t know anything about Frakes as a person, but he sure seems great. On both sides of the camera he adds so much to all of these shows in the franchise, and there’s something about his attitude, apparent ability to not take himself or his character TOO seriously, and his pride in Star Trek that really makes me

I didn’t even start the slideshow, went straight to comments when I saw it was one. I won’t entertain their garbage idea of turning a recap article into a slideshow by looking at it.

I love this show, no matter how convoluted at times. The diverse characters, the performances, the imagery, the story lines are all so compelling and I really appreciate the show being produced and really hoping for much more from this universe. With any live adaptation from a book or comic series, it seems many

Recaps are in slide shows now? OMG this site has become unusable.

Congrats! but... keep in mind- you’re going to be competing with a LOT of suddenly out of work writers for that sweet, cushy position where once there was a whole team; in fact, I’d wager there will be so much demand (assuming this job really is as in-demand as you claim) that employers will be able to pit all of you

Out of all the FAANG type companies, Apple has come out of the Covid era fairly unscathed, with a stock price that is still within spitting distance of their 52 week high. Meta, Amazon, and the like can’t say the same. Both Meta and Amazon lost over half their value at one point in the last two years. HALF. They’ve bee

Why can’t they whine about having to shell out more money, but you can whine about them?

No.

Also there’s just a large portion of people that just literally can’t pay for Netflix. Netflix isn’t going to get any more customers from this...it’s just gonna do nothing at best or bite them in the ass at worst.

I strongly believe you either didn’t run the test at all and are lying about the results, or you misunderstood the implications of it being wrong. I have run this a good number of times, including after most of the recent ChatGPT updates, and I have never gotten more than 50% correctness on sentences with 3 words.

That feels like the ultimate proof that studio execs are absolutely the worst judge of film quality.

The interesting thing is that a lot of studio execs didn’t think Airplane! was funny, mainly because of the deadpan humor and the fact that a lot of the characters were cast with traditionally non-comedic actors, like Nielsen and Stack. It was so close to the thing it was parodying that they failed to see the humor.

‘No one is going to watch to watch a sequel because Avatar came out too long ago.’
