I think once Jesse inevitably finds out about Jane and/or Brock, that's exactly what's going to happen. My prediction is that the last half of this last season will be Walt, alone, against everyone he has alienated over the course of the series: Jesse, Mike, Hank, Skyler… Anyone else?

I think he'd definitely side with Jesse. As we saw in this episode, from a purely practical perspective, Mike sees Walt as a loose cannon. He's only joining him out of desperate circumstances.

I kind of see it as Protestant (Authority) vs. Catholic (Sanguinista). They both allegedly believe in the same god, and even use the same holy book, they just have vastly different interpretations.

Reminded of Ron Swanson's "just got laid" outfit. Some people can just pull off golf swag.

I thought this was one of the better episodes of the season, if only because it resolved some things that had been brewing for a while. The mysterious fire demon goes back to last season for Terry, as well as his unexplained antipathy for the sergeant. In addition, it seems obvious by now that Salome is another secret

Why exactly do people expect this show to be funny? I mean, I usually laugh throughout an episode, but it's a distinctly dramatic show to me. It's like wondering why there's no laugh track on *Louie*.

I got that feeling as well. What's interesting is that's in stark contrast to her scene with Jorma Taccone's character, who is so "alpha" for lack of a better term. That episode made it seem like she would seek out someone with a more domineering personality, but so far that hasn't happened.

I watch on HBOGo, so I didn't see marketing/previews before watching the show — can you explain a bit what was so misleading about it? It seems to be a common complaint around here.

I never watch commercials or trailers either, so it's a little mystifying when people seem to be pissed off at "the hype" instead of just watching the show itself. From what I've gathered from commenters on here, apparently the HBO marketing made Girls seem a lot more… sincere? Like Hannah's "voice of a generation"

Denim pedant time! There's a difference between "slim" jeans and "skinny" jeans. Skinny jeans are the incredibly tight things that look painted on. Only the slightest of frames can get away with them, but they're actually pretty much essential for really skinny people (otherwise it just looks like they're wearing
