The first thing I did when I got my snes mini was to use Hakchi to get DKC2 on there. Not normally into hacks and mods but it was very easy to fill the mini snes with the games that I actually own on carts up in the loft.

But don’t worry - you can still get Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix on PS3 and 360. And it’s infinitely better in every way.

Have you tried Amid Evil? A solid, good-feeling Heretic successor. And has great level design.

Dragon quest 11 coming to steam increases the chance of them porting the mobile versions of DQ to steam (1-8 are all on mobile and are generally very good versions of the games). Hopefully this debacle will teach them to make the bare minimum amount of effort if they do it.

Their office is in my hometown, glad to see something game-related coming out of Brighton that isn’t PewDiePie.

-> the joke

I dunno, going to see a movie has the ‘experience’ wrapped around it. The big sound and theatre vibe makes it more of a spectacle than watching the same film at home or grinding out an MMO for hours on end. It’s like going to a really good restaurant vs cooking at home. It costs way more ‘per hour’ but the whole

That sounds realistic, yeah. Fair to say that MH 5 or 6 or whatever it will be, will hit the Switch, and MH World 2 will stay on PS4, PC etc.

Doesn’t PUBG use bought assets anyway? For example the female model that ended up with that cameltoe controversy. If that’s the case, it’s hard to sue on the grounds of visual similarities.

Fair play. But what’s wrong with playing an RPG on a portable screen? The first 6 games in the series are 8 or 16 bit 2D games, so perfect for a small screen.

Japan already got Monster Hunter XX ported to Switch. Looks real nice too. Wish we could get it in the west :(

You got a switch? It’s coming to switch later. And if people shout loud enough (which they seem to be) we might get it on 3ds like we did with 7 and 8

Sounds like they got some proper acting talent in as well. I heard David Warner and Peter Serafinowicz I’m pretty sure!

There’s quite a few very good ones to check out before this releases, depending on the systems you own. 4,5,6,9 on DS, 7,8 on 3ds. And 1-8 are all on iOS (and maybe android). I would recommend 4,5 or 8 to begin with. 5 has maybe the best story. 8 is the most similar to 11. Lots to enjoy :D

Holy crap... are those voice actors... David Warner and Peter Serafinowicz!? 11/10 best game ever.

My OG 3DS fell apart recently, so I decided to splash on a New 2DS XL with the capture card modded in. So awesome being able to record games for YouTube from it. But I’ve been glued to my Switch for so long I only just realised how many incredible games the 3DS has that I haven’t beat or even started yet. Dragon Quest

This game does look like a lot of fun, but unfortunately there is simply no game that comes anywhere close to F-Zero GX, in general quality, challenge and most of all the unique feel that GX has. When Nintendo eventually decides to resurrect F-Zero it’s very unlikely that they’ll be able to match it.

Your analogy is completely ill-fitting. You can’t compare these things. Would you compare the Song Of Ice And Fire books to a car that doesn’t turn left? The most recent Star Wars trilogy to a car that doesn’t turn left? It’s fantasy fiction for goodness sake. It’s not a chunk of hardware that doesn’t work. Fiction

I would love for you to be right about that, but that trailer is almost certainly for a new Tenchu game. The quote refers to a Tenchu villain and there are old Japanese manuscripts in the trailer. Again, would love it to be a Bloodborne sequel, though.
