Your comment seems to miss the point that this article is about J RPGs. If you wanted to be smarmy and condescending about jap RPGs as opposed to western ones, you commented on the wrong thread and made yourself look a bit silly. Have a great Christmas.

When Ocarina Of Time came out I was 12 years old, and I would get up 2 hours early for school to get some gameplay in. I’d think about the game all day and all night. I’d draw maps and fan art all over my school work, speculating what would lie in store when I got home and got back on the game. I even dreamed about it

But you are being one.

I backed this on Kickstarter because it’s Shantae, simple as that.

This game is completely fantastic anyway, but I just tried it with my brother’s oculus on a weighty sound system and holy balls just holy balls.

I really recommend Dishonored 2, firstly as a completely fantastic stealth game. But also because my girlfriend, who is barely a gamer (she likes Rayman, Professor Layton and Mario Kart) actually took an interest and enjoyed playing it with me. She particularly enjoyed the infamous optional puzzle lock, which she

I bought the original VC on PS3 back in 2008, basically because I love strategy games and I loved the art style and control. But the game’s difficulty was so savage that I never finished it. Bear in mind that I love difficult games, La Mulana, Spelunky etc and to a lesser extent, Souls games. But I could never get

I showed it to my girlfriend who has a good mind for this sort of thing. She got a notepad and solved it in about half an hour. I was very proud of her, then I secretly went back and beat the level so I didn’t miss any content.

It really is a shame that there’s so little of this kind of thing in the world. It shouldn’t come as such a pleasant surprise to me that these folks did something decent for this kid. The shitshow of negativity around this video is testament to the horror of the human race. I just hope that kid is shredding some Smash

Good troll.

For me the worst is when American productions try to do regional English accents (a good example is Nolan North as Penguin in Arkham City). It sounds like a combination of cockney, Geordie, Irish and Yorkshire. It’s not good.

Yes well remembered, I love Giants CK! When it came out I was about 15 and it just blew me away. The scale, the graphics, the variation of gameplay and the scope were all unparalleled at the time. Also it had boobies.

You’re so right. I absolutely loved the first 2 Borderlands games and tried playing Pre Sequel. I was just like “wha...?”

I’m British, and I usually find this kind of thing a bit tedious. This however looks really fun and if the puzzles are well designed I’ll pick it up.

If you like British TV series based in and around the Napoleonic wars I recommend Johnathan Strange and Mr Norrell, and Hornblower.

You nailed it. Just because his Amnesia Dark Descent freaking out squealing video was the one that was passed around for a few days a few years ago, his channel snowballed. He never cashed in on his popularity and made it happen. He just carried on making stupid videos. I kind of respect him for that, although he is

The graphics are quite ugly, but not nearly as bad as they seem in the trailers / gameplay footage online. The Guybrush character design is not good but all the other characters look great. On the whole it certainly looks a lot better than Escape From Monkey Island which is fugly as hell. Also, the pixelated games (1

The PSP collection can be played on PS TV, which I can confirm is awesome.

The last people to touch the Monkey Island IP is Telltale, and while they did a good job, they’ve since become a very different thing than what the series deserves. Fully scripted adventure games are not Monkey Island.

If they get the rhythm right it could be good I guess. I mean Crypt of the Necrodancer is a pretty deep game and it only uses the 4 arrow keys.
