I think there’s a fair chance of Daud returning, even for a cameo. If you took the ‘good’ ending of Brigmore Witches he leaves Dunwall and the assassin game, moving far away and under the radar. Would be cool if he was some sort of old hermit guy who you can visit for information or something like that.

Actually I thought that the most arresting and disturbing moment in the whole game is the non-lethal solution to the mansion party. You can kill the woman, or you can deliver her unconscious body to a pervert in a boat who ensures that she will never be heard of again. Messed up.

I love these games too, but there are some which are ‘proper’ games but still fit the hidden object mould. Shadowgate (2014) is a great example.

I’m a huge fan of Borderlands and I hated the Battleborn beta. Hated it.

I finally got round to upgrading my PC so this weekend will be spent catching up with all the pretty PC exclusives I've had backed up - Vermintide, Naval Action, Medieval Engineers, Kingdom Come Deliverence Beta and the Underworld Ascendant alpha prototype.

That’s awesome :) looking back I was hugely underleveled for him, I was around lvl 33 and couldn’t figure out why he was so darned tanky. I was chipping away for so long before he even summoned the shadow that it basically became a war of attrition. After I beat him I watched some other people doing it and realised

This guy actually wasn’t too hard to wreck solo. The Pontiff in Ithryll absolutely destroyed me, but I took this guy out after about 4 attempts.

Samurai are not Chinese, FYI

I heard that Microsoft was planning an Xbox One Point Five too. Although it had probably better be an Xbox Two if it’s going to run games to an acceptable standard. I’m not into console wars and all that, but compared to everything else, games just run like shit on Xbone and it’s pretty shameful.

“As bad as the game runs on the PlayStation 4, it runs even worse on the Xbox One. “

I recently watched my friend play through this, and basically everything about it is the absolute worst. It is an embodiment of everything I hate in the industry in one neat package.

BS. Armour and shields are for scrubs. Real men go in naked with a 2-hander. Always been that way.

Yeah I realise that, I just mean that Squenix should stop trying to turn FF into an action game series, as they clearly can’t do it well. Doesn’t matter how many years FF15 has been in development for, I’m not interested unless they dramatically improve the weightless combat. I just wish it were turn based.

The Xbox will definitely run badly overall. Japanese devs don't really have a good mastery of the Xbone hardware. And that hardware is pretty poor as it is. If it doesn't run great on PS4, my bet is that it'll be way worse on Xbone.

Totally agree. I've just never been into those JRPGs like the recent FF games and Xenoblade where it's real time, but the combat doesn't react to what's actually happening in a way which looks good. Give me Dragon Quest or early FF any day. However one game that I did enjoy a surprising amount was Dragon Quest Heroes

I think we’re more likely to see another new Souls-esque IP from the Demon’s Souls / Bloodborne dev colab of From and Japan Studio. After all, Bloodborne could well have just been Demon’s Souls 2, but they went completely off the wall with the setting. For myself, I’d like to see more of that. A Souls-esque game with

My PS3 died last year, and I bought another one just to replay Demons (for the 7th time). It's that good.

Holy balls, that is unbelievably amazing. My eyeeeessss....

Can’t recommend it enough. I have 70 hours clocked on steam, more than most games I own. For an early access game, it says it all. It’s come a long way since the first playable build in April 2015. The updates a frequent and significant. Also check out Sui Generis - it’s an open-world title from the same developers,

Yeah it has a small but fiercely loyal fanbase that is growing rapidly. It’s one of those games that you want to talk about... a lot. Cult classic in the making. I’ve clocked up 70 hours on steam, more than got my money’s worth and it’s only version 0.6
