If drinking beer and checking out cool bikes is hipster, I guess I better start growing out the man bun.

This reminded me of a childhood toy I had completely forgotten about; a Caterpillar remote control excavator, complete with a little smoke stack that bellowed smoke after putting in some strange liquid. The smoke smelled really bad. I loved this toy.

You, my friend, know your cars.

“Canada may be an unusual choice to unveil a British hypercar, but no one here was complaining.” Not really, the car is being built by Multimatic in Ontario, Canada. Just like the new Ford GT , Aston one-77, Aston Vulcan etc. I think the Aston one-77 North American debut was the Toronto Autoshow as well

My guess is that it’s the ghosts of all the people he killed with that car.

How long until we get an article about how much better a V8 Vantage is to this model?

Well, if you multiply 1,550 by two...

The HMMWVs are one thing, but think of what it takes to keep a BMW running in a war-torn country!

FWIW, I’ve heard various journalists on the twitter (Rukmini Callimachi, for example) say they’re amazed at how GOOD Mosul looks post liberation. The Iraqi army is learning to be more surgical and not just pulverize everything as they go, and it’s making a huge difference in how quickly people can return to these

“... the toy produces realistic smoke coming out of its exhaust pipes.”

The reporter mentions being embedded with the Iraqi SF in the video.
I’m just shocked their HMMWVs have run this long... ours were garbage. They must have some pretty damn good maintainers and supply chain folks there, too.

Based on the black Humvees that are there, it’s not just the Iraqi military, that’s ISOF, the Iraqi Special Forces group. Those dudes are a no joke elite fighting force.

For a total weight savings of 27 pounds! At least when Porsche does it, it is obsessive/quirky: The door-pull straps instead of a handle, replacing the metal badge with a decal for weight and aerodynamic reasons, no radio, no AC...tartan...

Cigarette also makes a boat that is powered by the same electric motor used in the electric SLS

It’s the bang-o-drome

What’s the point of having a boat linked to a car if there isn’t anything the same?

Military Gearhead here, a trick I’ve used to save some money (on cars and in general); is to maintain my Home of Residence in Florida. This is common in the Military, because Florida has no State Income Tax. But what a lot of people don’t know is that Florida also doesn’t charge Soldiers taxes on Car Purchases. Get

Leaning to a NP on this one, but a shaky one at best. Good clean 996, the headlights do not bother me at all. I’d want to know more about the changes to the internals to make sure it wasn’t just “slap a SC on it and let it roll”, but 425 to the rear while rolling your own is crazy scary in the best way!

It does seem to be listed for a bit more than stock examples in similar condition and mileage, so it’s a bit of a tough call. Given that all the work was done by an actual shop, and not in some guy’s parents’ backyard, that does help lend a little credence to the overall build quality.
