@Sprzout You're not looking hard enough. It should not be a business practice to install an AVS over a virus. Most viruses will either look for a boot.ini file or msconfig to get things going.
Fair enough. Oh, for any system purchased from retail, I'd have to go that route.
NEVER EVER try to install an AVS when the system is already compromised by a virus. It's like trying to put a bandaid on a stab wound.
