I still maintain this is the first modern crossover: a suv and a minivan. It presages the modern aesthetic - it was simply a decade too early.

These days you’re lucky if you get ten. I mean that’s good, means you’re getting what you pay for, but it’s kind of disappointing, right?

Eh, I figured you knew, it’s just worth mentioning to the kids out there that there’s a reason those seats were US only.

My favorite Holden? Two Utes.

This is exactly what I was going to say. This car has the potential for a lot of fun, easy parts, and it’s easy to work on. Just changing the exhaust can give you another 40 horsepower. Seriously, no joke. Then add the intercooler, and you’ve _got_ something. So 200 hp easy, 250 in range, in something the weight of a 8

Course not. The seats were there for the chicken tax.

Do not beat on the BRAT with a baseball bat.

Red’s not that uncommon for a WRX. There’s a few around me.

Sweet flame job, man!

Apparently it was completely coincidental.

Reminds me of the british method. Drunk men living under bridges hammering sheet metal over wooden forms.

Nah, you can tell. The difference between 300 and 350 HP in a 1,200 pound car is noticeable.

Why is the Long Island a ghost? She wasn’t scrapped till ‘77. I’m pretty sure she outlasted half these ships.

There’s at least two on 687/Whitestone heading home at 5-7ish. One’s white, the other is red.

I kinda dig it, but my first reaction involves curbs and that intercooler pipe. Why. Just why?

They’re living their lives a quarter mile at a time.

Well, that’s going to be a pain to play Pokemon on.

It looks like that Fiero’s got the Tesla Roadster 2 system in it, judging from the front end nozzles.

I sez they should choke it down to one lane, then wait for an accident to stall everything out.
