Everyone’s heard Miserlou, but there was a specific recording of it, from 1997 with Gary Hoey that was very good and a bit different that the one everyone knows.

Sir, Dick died yesterday. I thought it was a nice choice that wasn’t Miserlou.

As the secondary driver of a ‘94 Eclipse GSX, I feel your pain and your triumph. High-five.

You’re welcome. Rather, you can thank my mom for that.

F’r all you Porschey fans out there all hopped up and harassin’ bout that thar electric nine one one thingummy... y’all might just want to lookit Herr Doktor Porsche’s history.

Yep. We’ll see, right?

Well, yes, it will be lower, which means it should be better handling than a normal crossover, which means it might be a fun handling crossover. I’m eager to see if my theory is true.

Fair call. I’ve just got a theory it’ll feel more like a normal sedan, which means you might get performance quality handling out of a crossover that way.

Where’d the center of gravity feel like it was, compared to a normal car / a normal SUV?

I really wonder bout electric crossovers/suv and their low center of gravity.

Oh, there’s no doubt it was - and it looks like it got gotten front and rear - the missing Jeep on the rear hatch is a dead giveaway.

That missing Jeep, or, as I mentioned yesterday, seeing a ‘JeeP’ logon on the back hatch says there’s been rear end damage. On the other hand, if the frame’s been straightened, the thing rides okay, it’s an XJ, it can take it.

Hail the Red Pig and Blower Bentley. (James Bond’s _real_ car.)

Very good plan, sir. One bit of advice I learned the hard way on that generation: Do not by any Jeep with the rear letters set to ‘JeeP.’ It means someone rammed it and it was repaired poorly. I’ve seen a surprising amount of those around.

I would seriously suggest that, if you were to get the idea of getting one solid Reliable Car, it be a ZJ. With the towing package for the oil cooler, yeah.

Oh god no. You’d just bend the frame into a spiral.

Good point and good eye. I was thinking about what else he might need to handle to do this. What’s the steering ratio like on this thing?

Believe in the heart of the cars, man. You can do this.

Respect and darn right. Ironhide package is a surprisingly good package if you ignore the pretty bits, but the pretty bits _are_ nice.
