There’s like 20 around by me, they always look a little odd but awesome.

Look, no joke, have you considered trying to pick up a spare donor beast? I think we all expected the frame to be toast.

Wellll... if it ain’t rubbin, it ain’t racin. Let’s have some fun, boys!

Oh, and driving. down. the. breakdown. lane.

Most of mine center around parking.

Hate to say it but that was exactly my first thought, too. I think it’s one of those little dreams like putting a ramplate on your car to deal with slow drivers.

Hm. ‘68, has the hard top, would need a _really_ complete rebuild. If I had the time and space, would be perfect for a hot rod or a electric skateboard rebuild from the ground up.

Guys, don’t you know? It’s a Turbo Boost button. Works just like an old PCs turbo button.

This may be a bit of a leap, but why not a Pacifica Hybrid? People seem to like it quite a lot, it’s entirely capable, and even if it is quite nice people won’t think a minivan is superior to their cars which are much more macho. It’s a plug-in, and qualifies for the federal tax credit, too.

The problem with that concept is the ‘commute’ which is roughly one car per family unit required minimum. Sure, you could maybe get away with 80% capacity, but until everyone working at a job lives in one location, you’re not going to significantly lower the number of cars on the road. You could get away with it

What do you mean, never came to pass? We’re soaking in it right now.

Yeah, saw that happen once, it just _lifted_ off like someone throwing a card. Crossed half the highway before impact.

You forgot book pirate. Man knew how to party.

What happened to the dog? I mean, that sounds like a good omen to me.

Saw a guy in a lowered classic Caddy convertible cut off a semi in front of the George Washington Bridge entrance. The semi was rolling relatively fast and was unable to stop. It steamrolled the car the long way till it hit the engine.

As far as wind - there’s a bridge I cross with a heck of a crosswind - it handled it better than a Fit.

Surprisingly capable car. I got stuck with one as a rental last year in a blizzard deep enough that I was steering mostly by turning the wheels and using them like a rudder in a boat. I was, at one point, ahead of a conga line of the garbage trucks NYC uses as snowplows, and I stayed ahead and on the road.

Man, I don’t _want_ to walk half a mile in the cold at 4 AM to go get my card. Specially if it’s been snowing.

Or you’re in Boston.

Oh, they were, they were. Still got fond memories of baking alive in the back seat, though.
