That’s kind of what I’m wondering, now that the optic comes up. Would a fighting game built on cool downs where you can only execute each combo once in a while allow players to create more opportunities for retaliation? I.e. force the opponent to go on the defensive, rather than full on assault.

Ya know... If your multiplayer Elo is so inaccurate that you can’t correctly pair two beginners together, no wonder people shy away from fighting games. I mean it shouldn’t just be discounted as a facite of the genre that the skill gap is large and unfixable. That’s just poor game design.

I’m sorry... But in that first image it looks like they were reporting on giant rampaging intestines.

I don’t get it... I’ve played the game almost weekly since it launched... I’ve never seen this supposed rampant toxicity I keep hearing about. Seriously. When people talk in game it tends to be one of a few scenarios:

First rule of Mystery Heroes: You lose.

Yeah, the fact that Mystery Heroes doesn’t even play by quick play rules makes it a complete non-starter for me. Until such time as the mode respects the single hero rule I will plainly refues to play it. I get into keyboard splitting rage quit territory too quickly from the horrible comps it doles out. The enemy team

That’s very fair. For what it’s worth your English is better than most native speakers haha.

Your complaints about the controls are completely valid, but your insistence on tying that backto the aesthetic of the game is unnecessary. You’re absolutely correct that the controls in the team ico games are unresponsive and broken. It’s perfectly valid for that to be a deal breaker for you, it sure was for me.

I’m more shocked by the number of people who don’t know they have a screenshot feature on their console... How can there be this many photos of TVs...

Embrace the derp! Feel the derp! LET THE DERP FLOW THROUGH YOU!

I think it’s cute that they made this possible. Whether on purpose or by accident this is really great.

Holy shit. This is amazing.

SHE’S WELSH...

1000% this.

I agree, the battle times are completely broken. This is, of course, by design. They want you to be able to actually USE the 500 different systems they built into one unruly battle system, so for that to work you need to build up a lot of meters, to do that you need to hit stuff in various ways, to do that the enemies

The Wii didn’t even have 1:1 controls at the end. I was curious a while back and looked it up. All they added with the Wii Motion Plus was a gyroscope. That’s it. I was surprised it didn’t already have one. Turns out the base Wiimote only had a simple accelerometer. That means all it could do was measure movement in a

Does Nintendo not realize that mobile devs have been doing the virtual joystick thing since like 2007? Like there’s literally no other way to create console like locomotion in a mobile game. It’s not even that great of a solution, but if they have failed to defend the patent this long, I feel like they missed the

It’s significantly less expensive if the server component doesn’t have to support live interactive instances. It’s less expensive again if the player count is small. See, most servers these days are virtual rather than a physical box. A single physical cloud server farm could hold thousands of virtual servers. Let’s

Did someone defending Andromeda just get 18 stars? Hallelujah! I’m an unhealthy mass effect super fan, but I guess I don’t have to feel like I’m crazy.
