No I am just not delusional, like you appear to be. I don’t give people a reason to “grind” their “ax” against me.

Actually it was an insult; you’re just not bright enough to catch that or have a sound basis in reality.

I understand your points and in many ways agree with them. I would argue though that the massive amount of information available these days one would either need to be targeted or randomly preyed upon for this to be a concern.

If you have to worry about tracking your spouse’s infidelity you might just want to get that divorce. “Tracking” in the sense I am using it in is knowing their location in lieu of having to place that call of “Are you still at work” or “Still at the store?”

I can see where my kids are. Now you tell me where they are as well.

Such a well thought out, reasoned, logical response. I’ve changed my way of thinking immediately!

BUT! SOMETHING...SOMETHING...PRIVACY! BIGBROTHER!!!!!!!

I both understood and agreed with your sentiment.

I believe it’s “Par for the course...

ESPN’s problem is that they’re in the news business...

enjo42: Women’s Soccer isn’t profitable thus doesn’t get support from clubs/leagues that exist to make their owners profit.

I doubt anyone but the GLG-20's will get that reference.

No, the consensus among neurologists is “we need more research”

Considering there is no causal link between CTE and playing football I’ll defer to DeMaurice Smith, Executive Director of the NFLPA, who stated during the last CBA negotiations that while concussions and CTE get the headlines its only affecting a small number of ex-players. Near 100% of ex-players have orthopedic

I had heard a figure like that as well but no just to payroll taxes, but all other benefits. I’ve worked for a company that provided long term benefits like short and long term disability, group life insurance, defined benefits pension plan, 401k matching, and other benefits besides just their self-funded health

It costs a company 40%-50% above and beyond your wages to employ you just in payroll taxes and social security.

Well it depends on how you define better - unlike in the MLB and other non-salary capped industries the CBA’s for the NBA and NFL work to underpay the super-stars like LeBron or Brady while grossly over paying the majority of players. Salary caps produce artificial scarcity allowing (to borrow your phrase) sub-optimal

A good example of when it’s not positive - NFL and NBA.
