Pretending the candidates don’t need to campaign and it’s somehow all the voter’s fault if they don’t win is pretty weak tea. This isn’t 6th-grade Student Council. These were all big boys and girls who knew what needed to be done in order to win; they just got a bit full of themselves and chose not to do it.
“I told you so”? How about the part where she used her media contacts to give Donald Trump a billion dollars in free air time via her “pied-piper” strategy, in order to hold America hostage by giving us all the worst-possible alternative if we didn’t vote for her.
My plan is to support good candidates and not support bad ones. Does that make too much sense for you, skippy? I noticed you still haven’t told us how ‘being realistic’ and continually voting for the ‘lesser evil’ is supposed to make things better...
Exactly, so in what fantasy do you imagine continually voting for the ‘lesser evil’ will ever result in anything getting better?
Let me restate it in a language I know you’ll understand: Baaaaa...
Actually, what the rich really love is when the poor give in and say, “this election is TOO IMPORTANT, but next time, NEXT TIME we’ll show them”!
True, but even that was a result of the establishment candidate setting up the worst alternative she could find, and then holding America hostage with it. “Vote for me or you get Trump” was the threat implied in her entire campaign. The fact that she was almost as unpopular as Trump (and under FBI investigation to…
First, last, and only thing I thought of. Thank you. :)
For some reason, the odd pink around his eyes reminds me of the Red Skull from Captain America: The First Avenger, when Cap punches him and knocks his flesh mask slightly askew, so you can see the red skin peeking out from the eyeholes.
And I think the Democrats already have enough problems from taking the same corporate money as the Republicans, without acting more like them. It’s a slippery slope: how much can you copy Republicans before you simply are one?
If you don’t care about doing the right thing when it’s politically inconvenient, you don’t care about doing the right thing. You do the right thing because it is the right thing.
This.
Yeah, it sucks when someone actually tries to use his position to help make things better, instead of tweeting at Donald Trump like everyone else.
“Alexa, open the pod bay doors...”
I played Eve for a few months, mining asteroids and saving up to buy a decent ship. The first time I stepped foot into a less-than-safe system, I got blown away by someone camping at the gate. I sold all my remaining equipment, used that ISK to put a bounty on the person, uninstalled the game and went back to playing…
The FX show Atlanta doesn’t even have an intro, just a title card that lasts a few seconds, and then into the show. It seems like a better use of the time, in any case.
I’ve also recently noticed channels playing back-to-back-to-back sets of the same show in 36 minutes blocks per episode instead of 30. Assuming they haven’t shaved out jokes (something I’ve seen on Futurama and Simpsons reruns), that’s 14 minutes of commercials for 22 minutes of content.
If you don’t have proof of WI and MI being ‘stolen’, then yes, it isn’t worth hearing. It still doesn’t explain her not campaigning there, though, does it?
Can’t... like... more... than... once...
