Can you imagine Trump enduring 10 seconds of this criticism and hostility - or anything less than fawning praise really?

Funny, they told me the opposite if i stopped holding my Marvel Comics in public i might get a girlfriend.

Ran when parked.

“Netflix hangs Old Navy out to dry” means “Netflix blames Old Navy.” It’s an idiom that means “to abandon,” and in context means “Netflix shirks all blame, leaving only Old Navy to shoulder the blame.”

Philadelphia calls the cops on black people for sitting in Starbucks, so my money is someone at local Old Navy management trying to pull a fast one here.  Naturally, Corporate is going to tap dance after the fact, but I doubt the show did this - it’s not a huge film production.

Making minivans cool is the first step to getting people to buy them in droves again.  The TJ Cruiser is definitely a step in that direction.

The New York Times says VW agreed to buy back almost 380,000 cars, and of those, 100,000 are still for sale.

Deep-fired chicken foot, eh?

Fun fact... wait for it... I used to be a hand model and that’s my hand in Zoolander

Ya know what takes even more effort than telling your kid no? Actually discussing internet safety protocols with them as soon as possible. These safety issues don’t magically go away when they become an adult. Everything you teach them will still be relevant when they become old enough (in your eyes) to get a smart

Gonna guess you don’t have kids, so let me break it down

Blind test!  Exotic super car or clapped out old Chevy pickup with an exhaust leak?

Totally - why bother trying to stop any air pollution unless you stop every single instance of it at once?

What does this have to do with simplifying regulations? Everything was going according to plan before Trump decided to get involved. His people are the reason things are so complicated all of a sudden.

I read the NYT article this morning. The thing that jumped out at me was this:

No kidding. You’ll never convince me that this man doesn’t have bodies buried in his basement.

The pictures from his personal appearances are just depressing. Also depressing: He bills himself as “Mr. Belding,” not “Dennis Haskins: TV’s Mr. Belding” or somesuch.

In a related story with a different outcome, I watched The Neverending Story with my daughter recently. She liked it, but her main unanswered question was why was the horse so sad, and why would they put that in a kids movie. So some things are eternal.

It is so funny to read this today, because there was some Saved by the Bell on this past weekend and I asked my pre-teen son to watch a few episodes with me. I watched and enjoyed the show regularly like a lot of my generation, and I wanted my son to see what was big when I was around his age.
