I’ve had to put this idea succinctly to a few people (some friends that are now just acquaintances) that voted Trump and what he and his cabinet say and stand for, and didn’t “believe” what I had to say:

There’s a bunch of half-truths from both Trump and McConnell. The senator is right as we do have term limits in the form of elections, BUT it doesn’t matter when your voting districts are gerrymandered to the point of looking like a Jackson Pollock.

My grandfather, a son of slaves, didn’t have a birth certificate, as even as recent as the late 40s (he was born 1910) Southern states didn’t issue birth certificates to Negroes by law. Remember, just 45 years before he was born black people weren’t even considered full humans.

It’s not a mere conflict of views, it’s called having empathy and tolerance toward humans. I find that it would be totally fruitless to try and explain it to some Anon on the internet, but I’m truly sorry you lack either of those personal traits.

It’s not just about CO2, it’s specifically about sulfur dioxide. It’s horrible shit to breathe, and reacts in the atmosphere and with water to form sulfuric acid and other unpleasantries.
