Not to speak for kdr, but while this is an absolutely beautiful car it is also an absolutely dated design. The premise isn’t to find old cars we still think look great but to find ones that could be mistaken for a 2017 model. I can’t imagine someone believing this was any newer than the 70s.

Hard pass on the Delorean. The stainless body still looks good, but it’s hardly timeless. The slightly mismatched grey front and rear bumpers make the design look cheap, and quad rectangular headlights do the design no favors.

The Xj220 looks very dated and very much of it’s time. I would also argue that it’s never been a good looking car, even when new, but that may not be a popular opinion.

My SUV theory is that SUVs are the way cars are logically supposed to be.
