It just sounds so...wrong

Take your pick. Five years ago I took my first big trip, covering somewhere around 25,000 miles over six months across the western half of the US (and a little bit of Canada). I did 20+ national parks and slept in my truck most nights.

I saw one of these the other day here in South Florida! I had no idea what it was, which surprised me. It was heavily modified, wish I would’ve gotten a shot of it. EDIT I saw the Nissan, not the Toyota. Whoops.

Haha yea it’s ridiculous. I understand why the safety rules are in place but at some point I’d think you can let a few small manufacturers slide for the insanely low production runs. I wouldn’t have thought there would be much of a difference between newer Euro and US spec cars, especially something like a GTO, but I

I actually got to see that car here in Fort Lauderdale when I was in high school. It was a red Zonda S being serviced at a shop around the corner, FL tags and all. I’ll have to see if I can dig up those pictures

If this is only top 3, I want to know what the other two are

Such a good show. I think I was more excited that they played Draw the Line than anything, even though Dave didn’t know the words. But overall I think they might’ve been even better than when I saw them in Atlanta a couple years ago

Doing stuff like this is pretty satisfying

Thanks! Haha, I think it was when I transitioned from the overlook to the fence at Devils Playground. I heard you coming, but I wasn’t quick enough to get over there.

Unfortunately I missed you going up the mountain, but made sure I caught everyone on the way down. Congrats on being fastest Vette.

At least this way everyone will get to see the sweet bare carbon, and if you really feel like it you can see the “art” part of it. The Koons car will always be one of my favorites. Saw an i8 with the same wrap a while back

I saw one a couple weeks ago. It looked a little different though. Sounded great too

The blacks on the car throw it off for me, especially the tires.

Definitely want to read more about that Australia trip

Way ahead of you.

The first weekend of May was my favorite time of year when I was a kid. The Ft Lauderdale Air and Sea show was incredible. Go to the beach early on Saturday to get a spot among the millions of people on Ft Lauderdale Beach, then watch from our roof on Sunday as they rounded the corner to turn back south. Since it was

Maybe not the greatest, but the Mazda Furai concept was pretty cool and completely defined Mazda’s current design language.

Oh I completely agree about the belt lines. I still maintain that the picture makes it seem more awkward than it is, particularly because the shadow hides the crease so the side looks more like one big slab instead of something with shape, but I do agree that most cars these days are...bloated. It also doesn’t help

I see what you’re saying, but I think this is just an awkward angle. I got to see it in May and it looks (and sounds) incredible in person

My neighbor recently got one. Every time I see it, I can’t get over how good it looks (and sounds, obviously)
