The passive voice makes it sound like IT JUST HAPPENED TO come into the bathroom with him, not that it was a pocket knife customarily in his pocket or anything…

I’m not in favor of state sanctioned execution but oddly enough I’m cool with vigilante justice. Meaning if the dad had hit his target and managed to end this dude’s life, and I was on the jury, I’d let him walk in a heartbeat.

Yeah I think thats a pretty common stance though. Most people I know are probably anti death penalty but all for having child predators and sex offenders killed. I am anyways.

I don’t think there’s a prosecutor in the country that would bring charges unless he actually managed to seriously main/kill the guy. Probably just escorted out by police and kept under watch until he calmed down.

I’m usually pretty anti-death penalty... but apparently there is a line in my head where it becomes the right - the only - option and that line is women in garbage bags.

My dad has guns now because he’s a conservative and decided to do it on principle (he had a working replica musket and no bullets when I was growing up that took 20 minutes and skill to load- I know he has at least two more modern guns now).
