Oh, thank God, what a relief. I was worried someone might make the argument guns are used impulsively. But apparently he could have murdered his wife with a chair, while his adult son sat by and watched, I guess? Fortunately it didn’t come to that.

Come on, didn't you know the correct term for a rich white guy hoarding guns is “gun collector”?

JFC, what the hell do you need 48 firearms and 26k rounds of ammunition for.... Going to start a little private war?

What does one do with 15 brand new untitled F-150s? Part them out? It’s not like you can sell them on the street - didn’t they just close the Vermont title loophole?

I guess I’m answering my own question, but these are going to end up in shipping containers destined for Russia, aren’t they?

Yeah “how dare the wife of the man I’m having an affair with be mad at me” is an odd take.

the man’s wife, who allegedly called the actress a “lunatic.”

So Ford makes a vehicle, leaves it in a parking lot with spotty video survellience and the keys in it, and then doesn’t report them stolen when they leave the lot in the middle of the night?

Honda CRZ -

This! I remember when Infiniti finally got on a roll in the early aughts with an awesome lineup of desirable cars - the G35, which forced BMW to step up its game with the e90 3 series, the FX35/45, one of the few sporty SUVs that could run toe-to-toe with the Cayenne for a fraction of the price, and the gangster M45,

Infiniti.

The writing on the walls with sedans has been there for a while, but hard confirmation for me was the 10th gen Accord’s debut failing to stop the Accord’s sales decline. The contemporary XV70 Camry followed the same sales trend.

The one trend that needs to stop is the EV push based on battery technology that results in a use case that isn’t a 1:1 to an ICE equivalent vehicle. The heft, and relative slowness of charging a massive EV battery are counter to our expectations of a vehicle. In a best case scenario, an EV is a compromise of time

Dear God, please let it be piano black interior trim.

Real leather made from actual animal hide.

I think automotive design is going to continue on unabated. People love to feel like they’re special and powerful, and the trends that help them feel like that won’t go away.

Cars with a manual transmission sadly. Its getting harder and harder to find a car with a stick.

From everything she says though, she *didn’t* know he was a shitty person - she seems to have found him incredibly cool & charming, which... <barf>

I’m less concerned that she had sex with him (that’s her choice) and more concerned that she decided to bring a child in to this world with him despite how shitty a person she knew he was.

The fact that it’s described as “trying” to fix things is so funny to me. Like he’s just going around randomly turning wrenches and banging on things.

I like the idea of Elon Musk wandering around the Tesla factory floor trying to fix the coffee pot and typing gibberish code into a laptop the printer repair guy left behind, while the security cameras record his every move so they know who to send in and fix all his screwups the next day.
