yes some people like to think it's 2007 still.

Easy. There was thousands of jedi before. They all got wiped. Why the hell should I stick my neck out for the rebel alliance that may or may not succeed? Nah no thanks. I'll stick to my corner. It's entirely possible those that did mostly surivive the purge would be the grey jedi.

Except that the only new content is the raid at the moment which was unlocked at level 26. Hell even the new group of people I'm raiding with are still gearing up for it, and by no means have all the time in the world to play but they are already equipping themselves out because they didn't bother with the loot cave

Vanguard and cruicble shop keepers. Assuming you have played since launch and got all 100 marks of each, you have no excuse now not to have full legendaries or exotics at this point. The hard part is upgrading them.

Today's patch will also stop players from getting ascendant materials when they dismantle Queen's Wrath gear.

less negative than thinking the guy murder his wife and son, then commit sucide. =P

Sounds like this game went thru development hell circles, lapping quite a few times.

So basically "After an decade of trying, we were unable to come up with an MMO that was anywhere close to replacing world of warcraft."

So why bother farming and just do normal content if the engram rate is the same? There is no point in farming then. Might as well do normal content.

Go to moon, do patrol missions. Average time for an patrol mission: 3 minutes for 10-15 rep. Moon is best because it's easy to get to one of the three main locations and only an small handful of missions force you to go deep underground. However those missions also give you better rep than those on the surface.

your assuming the system isn't punishing you on purpose for farming items in your attempt to circumvent the system.

edit - removed the snarky remarks. Uncalled for. Sorry.

Destiny's loot system is like going to gamestop to trade in games.

the existence of flaws in an system does not mean they don't exist.

So what happens if the swatting event ends up with someone dead? One of these times... someone isn't going to make it.

Then you aren't using the motion tracker. Which you know if you know the map well enough lets you know exactly where the enemies are most likely hiding.

/sigh, fine. I'll bite for the sake of politeness.

First off, I never took that position, I said in my first post that the arguement itself is flawed because it can most often be applied to things like patches/bugs and not story content. It's not an very strong arguement against story/content, in fact that's precisely

No, I'm fully capable of having an discourse. Sorry, actually someone did ask for an explanation in general (Not you) and I answered. How this is an hard concept for you to understand is beyond me. There is actually an third person technically involved in this discussion which is the person who asked orginally. Agree

I am an asshole in real life too. Something I've been working on. Guilty as charge, I use to be a bigger one.

As far as your point - I didn't miss it, your reasoning (and therefore post) is entirely irrelevant considering the point of my first post was to answer that person's question. That's it. Nothing more or less.

No, it maybe time for you to use those critical reasoning skills to note that I never supported this position. I said and I quote:

"Though this arguement is most often used for bugs/patches etc rather than the story content itself."

"Not saying it's the right arguement as it does have it's own flaws..."

By all means,

Special Hint for those who lack reading skills: I was answering someone's question why people use that arguement. I can totally highlight keys part of my first post and the orginal poster. I think if you can correct grammar and spelling, you can at least put 1 + 1 together and use proper reading context. On the other
