To be honest, I have trouble even finding qualms with that remotely. Though for my own sake, I would still only limit it to appearing once every 10 or 20 or something times rather than every single time. Just personal preference as a programmer.

I dunno, I don't miss the slow speeds or how lame websites looked. Though frankly, not like websites have gotten better. It's pretty hit or miss on designs. The sound however is something I do miss sometimes to be honest. Of course, back in the day, computers were alot more noisier then.

well if it's like any other software where they want you to throw money at it - I would see it as nagging. Then again, I'm not most people *shrugs* I just think if I was writing any software that was semi-free, I would not put in a "buy the upgraded version" every time you do something.

17" laptops to be honest. Between CAD, animations, 3d modeling, programming, etc etc that I do on it besides gaming, It needs to be a power house but yet portable. Thus a 17" laptop. =)

Well, if the total number of 20k, then your saying on average of about 5-10 conversations per person before they were able to nail down an physical address or some other type of personal identification.

I would say attempts rather than predators. Otherwise the news would be all over this like on CNN etc. I'm assuming they aren't running this story because anything that involved arresting 20,000 people almost nearly at the same time would be a "wait, what just happened?" in journalists heads.

nothing unethical about it. Frankly, I find it unethical to nag your customers to death each time on it. As a programmer, I would at least do it once every 10 or 20 times just because I know I would find it annoying, and if I find it annoying, certainly others do as well.

well considering that they (predators) visit multiple website chat's at the same time, be surprised. If you can plant yourself in the central hub of a frequently traveled pedo website, you can get alot of them.

Well given the total human population, yeah, I was expecting millions. With most of those countries, You are at what? close to 1 (low end) - 3 (high end) billion people or so? Millions would definitely be more accurate portion of that total population.

Considering the total amount of population in those countries listed; I expected more to be honest. 20k is actually a pretty low number, which is surprising.
