Oh I wear them in any weather that doesn’t involve snow. Heck, I wore them to job interviews (not OG Birks, but Yaras). 

I went on one in Alaska (excursion on Norwegian cruise) and was fucking terrified that we were going to crash into a mountain and die, and two weeks later that plane crashed into a mountain and everyone on board died!!!

Alliyah’s crash was less because it was a small plane and more because it was a sea plane. IIRC, it hit a turtle, and that was after they buzzed the dock a number of times to get any wildlife outta the way.

My Louisiana born, Berkeley livin’ grandmother used to rock Birkenstocks with her St. John’s and Chanel suits.... so suck it Supreme and Vetements.

I’ve worn Birks for the last 20 years. They are my go to summer shoe because of the ease, comfort & air flow. I’m glad they are now back ‘in’, but I know that my friends will still give me shit daily about wearing them.

I’ve been anti-small planes since Aaliyah. You couldn’t pay me to get on one of those things.

I love my Birks so much-I have three different colors of the same sandal that I’ve had re-soled a few times already. The fact that they’ve come back into style is a nice little added bonus.

While I doubt I’ll ever come within spitting distance of being able to afford a private jet, I will nonetheless take this moment to point out that nobody should be bragging about taking such a tiny private jet (looks about as big as a minivan with wings - I bet he had to put his bag in that seat for weight balance) to…
