Toyota/Scion had a strong change of actually hitting their targeted younger demographic with not only the FRS but also the iM. If they would have offered a stronger motor, preferably turbocharged, it would have been a strong competitor to the FoST, FiST, GTI, Civic SI, and even a 2nd Gen Mazdaspeed3.

Hmmm.. Makes me wonder how the longevity of the 1.5 turbo will be compared to the 2.0 N/A.
