My favorite part in all of this is the segment on CNN where Republican Rep, Austin Scott insists that this is all the Democrats’ fault and Erin Burnett isn’t taking any of that shit.

Do the GOP feel compelled to only nominate someone with a bad combover?
The fact that they get to dominate airwaves and just blatantly lie by saying “that’s illegal” is such bullshit.
I get vertigo looking at Jim Jordan’s weird excuse for a hairline
It’s amazing/not amazing to listen to the GOP try to blame this all on the Dems - and do it with a straight face - when they:
It bears repeating: it was never about the children, it's just about controlling women.
Wait til Clooney’s documentary about the OSU sexual abuse scandal premieres on HBO/Max.
His own tainted past has come back to grab him by the short hairs. Can’t think of a single soul who deserves that kind of karma more than Gym.
That Bacon guy is on CNN right now and says that Jordan is pissing people off and he will lose even more votes the next time. He is telling Jordan that he needs to give it up, not going to happen lol.
LOVED when Ultra-MAGA Stefanik, during her introduction of Gym Jordan, commented that he has always been a great leader all the way back to his days as a wrestling coach and the ENTIRE democratic side of the aisle broke into great laughter. Fantastic unexpected comedy.
DeWine’s “rebuttal” reminds of the old point/counterpoint article from The Onion years ago:
Jordan is a fascist insurrectionist piece of shit who enabled the sexual abuse of minors. Watching him get humiliated as he’s flailed about like someone who doesn’t know how anything in Congress works (spoiler alert: it’s because he doesn’t) has been a joy to behold. Add in the fact that a number of Republicans from…
I certainly wouldn’t oppose a bipartisan solution, but the Democrats shouldn’t just agree for free.
I’m actually watching with great curiosity to see if more of my fellow Ohioans vote for abortion or for recreational weed. I genuinely don’t know how it’s going to go, because old people can be so weird about marijuana. Like, both of my folks are liberal, but I’m sure that they both voted for Issue 1 (abortion rights)…
Agreed. There are a lot of things JT didn’t handle well about that relationship (and many other things down the road), but being honest about not wanting a kid at 20 seems like the right move. I’m sorry if Britanny had conflicting feelings about it, but I don’t see anything wrong here. This is exactly what abortions…
I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby.
They weren’t ready for kids. Are we really painting Justin as a bad guy for being honest about that?
I have a little one just past his age. Breaks my heart to think of it (and that his poor mother lived! to relive that trauma for me would be unbearable).
Effing hell, a six year-old boy being brutally murdered for being a Muslim. Put me on the jury trial. I’d have no problem whatsoever going for the death penalty—give the murderer what he so richly deserves.
My wife and I did early in-person voting this morning. Two votes for yes on 1 (and 2 BTW). Now it’s up to the rest of the state. I’m encouraged by how MANY people turned out to defeat the Right’s attempt to remove Issue 1 from the ballot back in August.
