Believe it or not, guns aren’t allowed to be carried at NRA conferences. They even have checkpoints with metal detectors. Kind of blows that whole “more guns = more safety” argument out of the water.

The real irony is that attendees aren’t allowed to carry guns are in the venues at NRA conventions. Them things is dangerous and some speaker or NRA official might get hurt.

The only thing I’m taking away from this is, Abbott is saying that guy should’ve had a gun instead of a skateboard, killed Rittenhouse on the spot, and then everything would’ve been kosher.

Seems clearer than the Rittenhouse trial. Guy directly endangered people, who came to seemingly see what the fuck was going on; and then without attempting to flee or deescelate the situation that he caused, he started shooting at people. The jury sounds dead right from my understanding.
