I think it’s the second. My guess is that she’s going through the book to learn about her powers (as the Scarlet Witch) and magic in general. Then heard her kids calling out for help. Which I feel like should lead to Mephisto, but might delve into the multiverse.

Or No Way Home means the opposite. The Spider-Verse takes the cast from the MCU and puts them into the Venom-verse! We know Sony makes these films, they want Spider-Man for themselves, they have a universe without Spider-Man, now after this film they can have a universe with Spider-Man that everyone loves (Holland)

“We had two alien invasions, a crazy robot tried to asteroid us, Ego went batshit and tried to eat the world, starting with a Dairy Queen, and that was before the third alien invasion(s) and subsequent ‘snap.’ Can I give you some advice Carol?”

2 Captain 2 Marvel

Alright, hold on guys. Is that a picture of a cardboard cutout as the cover image or is that just funny edge lighting?

Let’s start calling it “consequences culture”

The whole idea of opposition to cancel culture basically amounts to “you should ignore the fact this person is a terrible person and continue to buy their product.

Abso-fucking-lutely.

Spot on.

Just before we have some of the usual ‘Cancel culture gone mad!’ comments, no, she is not being ‘cancelled’, she is facing the consequences of using a public platform, the internet equivalent of shouting out in the middle of the street, to make questionable comments, and Disney would rather not have to deal with it.

Some are saying it could either be Mephesto or Nightmare behind the scenes. If that’s the case, I’m wondering if Agnes being there might be helping Wanda get through all of this. I’m betting Wanda’s memories might have been tampered with to not know who might be pulling the strings. Whoever is probably “convinced”

I agree, and it kinda goes along with the source material (although if they don’t use Mephisto it could be any number of things people have already speculated about).  I’m pretty sure it isn’t Kang though.

Yeah Agents of Shield kind of.... already blew that payload

My money’s on Dread Dormammu given the eventual Dr. Strange tie-in

What about Mordo? We know he was hunting down other wizards to steal/remove their powers. What if he tried that with Wanda, realized he couldn’t and trapped her in a fantasy of her own making so she wouldn’t be running around defining natures law.

I’m certain it’s Nightmare. Wanda’s power would be an absolute threat and prize for the Lord of the Dream Dimension, and he’s already been hinted to be the villain for the Dr. Strange sequel in which Wanda plays a part,

usually the evil mastermind or secret plot is someone or something we’ve seen before, that has a preexistent history with the characters.

I’m pretty much in the same boat.

Wanda is in *partial* control of what’s going on in Westview. But is she not in complete control because she’s not in complete control of her mind? Or because someone else is also trying to control things?

The neighbour, Anges, is who’s using Wanda. According to some, she’s a witch from the comic,  Agatha Harkness

I was watching a video last night by Pop Culture Explained and the guy said something that I’ve been saying here (sorta), which is that the MCU generally progresses by very simple, Occam’s Razor-style narrative processes. Unless some other explanation has been hinted at, usually exhaustively (in the case of the
