I said this exact thing last week to a friend and couldn’t agree more. E4 was the exact spot we needed to break from the gimmick and start telling a story. And thats not a knock on the first 3 episodes - they have been wonderful. But at some point a story has to start telling a story and I’m glad we arrived. Now all

Its interesting, Luke shows up in Mando and I read a lot of haters who say him showing up makes the Star Wars universe feel small. Then we get Wandavision and a handful of whos-who show up and no one is complaining that the MCU feels small. I just want to point out that its fun to see characters we know cross over

I still don’t understand why these mega companies keep trying to do multiple platforms. Whatever you own should be in one.

We have to assume this Superman gives up his powers b/c being a dad is the real power.... right Tom Welling Smallville?? (Still not pleased with that)

Your son and I have much in common.

Let it never be said that these moments can only happen in a theater. Next to Endgame portals scene, this is a close second. You could see it happening, and yet I couldn’t believe it. Unreal.

I’m surprised they aren’t launching it on Apple TV Gen 2 & 3 like they did TV+. I’m sure they will just say “use airplay” but an integrated app would be really nice. Anyone know anything about possible future compatibility?

That’s a fair point. Perhaps it would have been better executed if that conversation happened with a non-human who you could forgive for not understanding the nuances of human gender identity. A ‘fish-out-of-water’ character is not a new concept in TV to help the audience learn something the cast would otherwise

The They/Them moment was another perfect example of how the people doing this show don’t understand Star Trek. Its a thousand years in our future, that conversation and a “I never told anyone” would not be needed. It would just be normal. We never had to have a moment where Geordi felt proud to be a black man in

I’m late to the party here (just caught up on all S3 this weekend). This whole season arc is dumb right?

Maybe I never noticed or understood... why is Google Chat not free? I use hangouts to chat with people during the work day b/c its easier than being on my phone while at work. hangout was free and easy to use in the browser, with an extension, etc. So I go to Google Chat and its tell me I need g-suite or some nonsense

My biggest question is: is this the start of a Spiderverse movie? If this is just “we love Jamie Fox so we are using him again” then its lame and not great to unnecessarily tie yourself to a terrible film. If this is just the first of a long list of cross-over casting that gives us a Sinister 6 from across many

But why? JK was fun and harmless to the continuity for the most part. Does Sony really love Fox that much that we need to give him a do-over?

So did they just finish filming this ahead of Falcon Winter Soldier or is it gonna be a partial show? Just wondering how this is getting out ahead of the other show now.

It did get better and they were able to take more risk, no doubt. But you have to admit they scaled back the ‘super’ in the show which was disappointing.

This is too bad. Its a pretty good show and I chalk a lot of that up to the budget. I cant imagine Luke Wilson or Amy Smart stay on the show with a CW budget. And I’m guessing the special effects are going to be cut drastically. Thats not to say the story/writing/acting won’t continue to be spot on, but the show will

I’m sure thats true, but they are the decision makers.
