I used to use the Dash buttons but Alexa has made those irrelevant.

It is absolutely an adjustment to how I used to operate, but now that I am used to the 2 day shipping, all my orders are ahead of time. For example, I would order diapers when I have just enough left to last 3 or so days. Same with batteries. If I needed them right now, I would go to a local store like you. 

Do you really need to ‘look at’ a 20 pack of AA batteries or a bottle of fabric softener? 

I only every buy things when I am re-ordering something specific. Alexa reorder diapers or Alexa, reorder dog food. If you only ever bought 1 kind of this product, its a pretty straightforward and easy process. Its a basically a voice activated version of their dash buttons. 

I love everything about this. I fear that the powers that be think one or both of these: 1) Its already been done with Star Trek On-Line. That story is being told there. 2) We are planning to do that with the new Picard show, so the other shows are not going to add to that.
