Ditto - it's def like they were like "oh shit we gotta finish the other movie" at the end there. But I love how insanely ambitious it is for a sequel to a mildly received, small stakes sci fi flick. They went off the rails in a really great and hilarious way.

brah - chronicles is where its AT! bonkers ambitious story telling, it's like 3 movies in one, some great actors space slumming it….I've seen it too many times to be fair about it though
