You are crazy here. The remake stole the best parts from the original. (Which were probably in the book though.)

Super troopers! Again?!?!

It was and I'm not sure why! It felt kinda like some of the hard core comedy fans on SNL begged them to do it but Cleese and Palin's heart were not into it.

I got to agree. And I am someone who doesn't usually hear these kind of dog whistles, but it seemed pretty exploitative to me.

You remind me of a coworker who maintains that the prequel to Dumb and Dumber is better than the original.

I never thought it was that bad at all.

Yes precisely. But also the hilarious movie

Super troopers?

I can still remember his first appearance on SNL when he did his Pacino. It was like an immediate "ok this guy is going be on awhile."

Carvey, to me, is a great example of a guy whose talents are great for SNL, but don't really translate as well to anything else. Not trying to knock him. He has reached some hilarious heights few others have.

And when was the last time you had a life or death struggle with an armed felon in a parking lot after midnight? Physical confrontations are often more complicated and difficult that TV would have us believe.

So you don't believe that laws against felons carrying firearms making threats should be enforced? At what point do you think the shooting would have been justified? When the felon had the gun in his hand?

Is there not a rush to judgement of the cops in this matter? I feel bad for the family but the police were responding to an armed man making threats. Are they not obligated to respond? If they find said man and he does not cooperate are they supposed to let him go without further investigation? If they are involved in

Or Inventing the Abbotts

You can't beat this movie. One of my favorites.

Can we not agree that the Civil War was primarily about Slavery, but also a large enough human event to encompass many other things, of which the issue of States Rights was one?

It's basically his homage to Shane

This is Clint's best movie

Germany was so powerful that it required three "great powers" to defeat it. British held the line in 40 and 41. America provided the material and military resources. Russia paid the blood toll. Anyone of those three powers drop out or don't participate and WW2 has a different outcome.

With that grin he did nothing good for the world
