when I watched “Co-Op, the Musical” I had very little knowledge of Sondheim’s musicals. Just thought it was funny as hell and loved the songs. Then I watched it with a musical theatre nerd who told me they were basically just straight copies of Sondheim songs with different lyrics. Didn’t change a thing in my mind. 

The TV people, IMO, jumped on a huge grenade for ol’ George. They were given the broad strokes of the ending, executed it, and people hated it. I can’t imagine a world where part of the reason this is taking him so long is that he had to scrap the stuff that folks hated about the least season of GOT. Now, my toxic

i finally caught octopath traveler on sale at the nintendo store, and have been playing that because honestly playing video games and listening to depressing music are all I can think to do right now 

I’d say, as a new player, getting the boons that buff dash (in any way) is the most important thing. Being able to zoom around a chamber, damaging and debuffing monsters, is great when you’re not great. 

i feel like Stephen Root is criminally underrated, in general. 

Dayton Moore also makes his players listen to speakers who talk about how porn is ruining the world. Interesting priorities this guy has. 

the only MMOs ive ever played are FFXI and FFXIV...two drastically different experiences. While I wasted an obscene and ultimately tragic amount of time in my early 20s on FFXI, the sense of accomplishment you got from that game is absolutely unmatched.

what’s really amazing about this is when he reads an excerpt from her article and takes great umbrage with her use of the word “sovereignty.” he laughs at her, calls her ideas moronic, clearly thinks she has used the word incorrectly. she hasn’t; he just (apparently?) isn’t aware of her perfectly valid usage.
