People who feel the need to make this same post on every single speedrunning article are weird to me.

Some would call it a goal, I see this as a form of mental illness. His obsession with this was unhealthy; It altered his normal everyday life, his mood, thinking, and behaviour. This shouldn’t be celebrated, imo.

Penalty minutes and shots most definitely affect the outcome of the game. Do you think flags in the NFL have an effect on potential scoring, via field position? Do you think how many times a guy gets fouled and goes to the line has an affect on the NBA? These stats are kept across sports, as they’re part of sports.

Right. So this is a joke or someone who doesn’t understand hockey. I’m not saying keep fighting in hockey, I’m saying that saying it doesn’t impact the outcome of the game is crazy (or just massively uninformed).
