“Any man I see out there, I’m gonna shoot him. Any sumbitch takes a shot at me, I’m not only gonna kill him, but I’m gonna kill his wife, all his friends, and burn his damn house down”

aside from how fun Val Kilmer is as Doc Holliday, tombstone is easily one of the worst westerns I’ve ever seen. it was an obvious attempt to ape on the success of the unforgiven in the prior year. this is a movie that ends with a montage, I mean come on now.

hopefully there is an option to have the music off or I dunno..i might have to pass on a game I was initially excited for. music, especially with a narrative, tends to turn me off. the whole empathetic control device aspect of popular music and music in general bothers me to the point of major distraction. as John

I’m willing to see how well it flows but I’m not trying to feel like I’m playing marvel vs capcom 75. I can understand the appeal but it just looks tacky to my eyes.

I spent a few days with a friend their partner who was an mma fighter. They lived in an anarachist community. he was a poet in a community of gender fluidity lgbt culture and activism. Very kind and warm guy. Only other mma guy I’ve come across was super well read and part of a fringe culture/arts community. Bless the

Also super Mario brothers. Seriously. Damn fine cyber punk fun with a little meta weirdness (koopas selling the story to Nintendo resulting in the Mario games ). But definitely agree with mortal kombat.

I got yr back friend

Nothing will ever touch the glory of the Mario movie. I sincerely love it after rewatching it a couple years ago, it’s a fantastically bizarre cyberpunk film in the guise of a licensed video game movie.

Also egotistical, hypocritical and pretty vile. Refused his wife of medical treatment but allowed medical treatment for himself(because he believed himself too important), made his niece and other teenage girls sleep naked beside him so he could deal with his sexual urges, and believed jews should have performed mass

Ryuichi Sakamoto and Alva Noto’s score is really the only great thing I pulled from the Revenant. I’m already a huge fan of them both but what a great score, otherwise I honestly felt the movie was extremely trite.

None of these sound appealing. I feel like I just can’t get into modern anime or at least haven’t found anything of interest. So much of the medium seems cookie cutter now.

Loved the guns in shadow fall. Weight and recoil that felt like you had to control it.

I’m in the same boat. I thought it was pretty dumb and visually bland. To me, it’s any mediocre mech anime except the mech are giants which is still kinda just macross.

Seriously
