LOL...exactly. it’s like the Jerky Boys were on the radio.

back in ‘88 a foot-long section of a truck leaf-spring fell off of a flatbed driving in front of me while i was heading down the freeway, it bounced off the road, glanced off my car’s hood, and speared into the windshield right in front of my face! luckily it stopped half-way thru the windshield, hanging right there a

not necessarily true for artificially-stable aircraft.

bottom line: GD designed a great aircraft!

interior looks like an accord. not so much the lines, but the materials. it doesnt look like they used premium materials. need to see it in the flesh. not impressed initially w/ just pictures, though.

it is supersonic. it's not the existence of condensation that tells, it's the shape of the condensation cloud.

BOO-HOO...have fun watching the game on TV...GO BUCKEYES!!!

darwinism at work.

maybe satellite-capture capability a-la james bond?!

yeah, the only notable thing about this flat-crank V8 is that it's a modern example from a US OEM. for high-performance euro OEMs, making flat-crank auto engines is old hat.

is that true? my understanding is that a flat-crank is better for peak power (and probably RPMs along the way). whereas cross-plane cranks smooth out power delivery, which is why big-bang/long-bang engines (such as an I4 with cross-plane crank or 90-deg V4) work well in premier-class moto racing where power

gotta be the main battle tank or battleship.

Lexus is missing a huge opportunity to carry the LFA's halo forward. Lexus should make a $150K version called the "LFAx". leave it RWD, put a twin-turbo V8 in it, remove some of the original LFA aspects that drive the cost of the original to the stratosphere.

the valkyrie was certainly never deployed, but should NEVER share the same sentence with "Failed Aircraft"!!!

add a little qwerty keyboard along the bottom a-la bberry/droid-pro and this would be *PERFECT*!!!

it has to do with heavy users: i work at client-sites and it is quite normal for me to wifi tether to my phone for 8-10 hours/day *and* be on the phone for +4 hours/day via bluetooth. with my droid maxx's 3500mah batter it's no problem, any other phone that is simply impossible.

the karem designs look *interesting*...imagine an A400-sized tiltrotor?!
