Call of Duty is so fucked next gen. They've had all this success from using the same engine over and over and over and over. What are they gonna do?! They are either going to modify the quake engine even further and have a super dated looking game or make a new engine and pray to Jesus that they have the same luck…

Also water. Battlefield has always had shitty looking water while everything else looks great.

I live on the west coast too so I was literally playing the game an hour before the release date and I played it all night. Problems started happening in the days to come but I could still play most of the times I tried to log in.

They were like half rural and half urban. I just love rural maps for some reason. Also I do love the colors in End Game, they are so natural looking compared to vanilla. See I wish they would theme the game around maps like these and not the blue urban ones. Just my opinion though.

Idk man it is just that urban maps are not my style for some reason. Aftermath maps are big but they are totally urban, not really open. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Also the vanilla maps are almost evenly split between urban and rural. Metro is not the only map like that.

Yeah they are. Tons of people complain about BF3's blue tint, there's even a mod that removes it and it makes the game look glorious.

Steelport was awful. A crazy game like SR needs a crazy map with a lot of variety like San Andreas's map. But oh well this game looks like such a rehash, I'm not digging it.

I'm getting sick of the "everything is blue" style they got going on. Also how much they're trying to push urban combat in big blue cities. I like my Battlefield to be in a field.

Umm.... That is part of the city simulation. You can't just undo stuff or pick up a placed building and move it somewhere else. You have to destroy and rebuild just like a real city, it's going to be a big project that is going to cost money or you have to live with the consequences.

It just doesn't work with the way they went about distributing the game. For you to be able to preload through Origin they would've had to taken a different path. The game is not on Origin, that's the problem. The Maxis servers are totally separate from Origin's store servers. I'm sure if they could have had a preload…

I have 30 hours played so far on the US West server. A good portion of that was right after launch because a few days later is when the problems really started for me. Overall I'm annoyed but still satisfied with how much I've played.
