Probably Britta, because I identify with her, both in my avatar/username and in her being the worst about having to make everything a cause or a stand or generally needing to rebel against things.

I aspire to make drinking a glass of cognac in a bathtub a relevant homework assignment for my students one day.

Contributor to AV Club, did the P&R reviews back when that was on.

I just learned I have 6 mutual Facebook friends with Steve Heisler, including my college roommate. I feel weirder about always having an automatic negative reaction to him now.

Given I'm home alone unpacking most of today and tomorrow and the internet & TV aren't set up yet, I LOVE whoever made season 1 of CEG free on itunes and whoever here gave us a heads up about it. You are my favorite Communist for the day.

I genuinely didn't realize Modern Family was still on. I guess when I stopped getting mad that it was getting nominations instead of Community, I stopped paying attention to its existence altogether. Good to know it's still there, still getting clueless Emmy voter name recognition over better shows (YtW, Crazy

I'm kinda slowly watching it! I enjoy it. I feel like it should be setting my world on fire more than it is? I appreciate it's really well-done, but I also am not really dying to go on to the next episode when I finish one…I'm in the midst of moving and such, so I might just not be in the right mindset for it right

It sounds like a wine cooler (which, when you think about it—bad if you give it to unborn babies, plenty of adults can have it and not even notice…..)

I'm pretty sure Disqus has Zika.

Yeah…it also makes a huge difference in my ability to be a morning person if there's something I'm excited to do or if it's, like, for something normal/boring/unpleasant. I'm also not a breakfast eater, even though breakfast foods are delicious and more places should serve them at lunchtime :)

I'm getting pretty darn old and I'm still waiting for that to happen.

That's one of those stories that I must remember the coverage of anniversaries of the event and have mistaken it for the real thing. I would have been barely 3 then, so I doubt I remember the actual event. But I definitely remember news stories about it and thinking it was very sad.
