Man, I'm seeing such rave reviews for this show, I guess I'll give it a shot. I certainly would never have looked twice at it just given the promotional materials. Given I'm procrastinating practicing a presentation about the gig economy (and one of my points is that we may eventually all end up gig/independent

There's a show on LMN called "My Crazy Ex" and every time I scroll past it on my channel guide I see the "Crazy Ex" and get really excited for like, half a second.

And it mentions YtW—you have my eyes! (A little later….after work….but it's open on my browser now, so Splitsider is getting their sweet, sweet pageviews to continue to give you the big bucks!)

Whaaaaaaaaat?!? How did I not know this was happening.

Women's clothing sizes are just insane. There's no logic to them. In some brands, I would wear a 2 or 4. In some, a 6 or 8. Generally varies by expensiveness/fanciness of the label.

That is art. I was moved to tears (of trying not to laugh out loud at work).

I am only minimally aware of The Night Shift and had no idea it was still on. I'm not even sure when I've watched NBC to see ads for Heartbeat. But unfortunately, I have multiple times and I want to punch the lead, the writers, NBC execs, and their cats every time I see it.

It's basically the 90's again!

Ooh, and Heartbeat (The ads for that show make me violent) got a 1.08 following the Voice.

Are you saying you're Chevy Chase and we're not?

I decided to randomly choose a fishstick for you, and this is what the Gods of Random Clicking returned. Kind of the Britta of Fishsticks, I'd say.

Steamed, I agree. But have you ever tried roasting it until it gets a little browned, almost-burnt on top? It's all crispy and delicious. Totally different food.

That's the way I feel about sweet potatoes. I grew up eating them Southern-style: with either brown sugar or marshmallows, which is just *gag*. But then I learned to put savory/spicy seasonings on them—now they're one of my favorite foods. Also delicious in curries.

Oh darn, I didn't even think of avocado. Mmm…avocado toast.

Green beans the way my mom makes them; roasted broccoli or brussels sprouts.

All day today, I've had the theme song stuck in my head, and I keep almost singing "She's so broken insiiiiiiiiiiide…." out loud. I think people in my office/my husband would be confused.
