It's the only place I've ever lived where I've met multiple people who are proud of never having been anywhere else and it's actually totally socially acceptable for them to say that.

I assume the writer is one of those people that equates the entirety of the U.S. with Manhattan? I can't think of anywhere else where the preschool process would be that ridiculous 10 years ago. So you could, y'know, consider all those other horrific, non-Manhattan places.

The oyster part doesn't offend me. We get shrimp chips in Chinatown that are just fishy and umami-filled and addictive. But the charbroiled part—that seems to me like it would just taste burnt in chip form and I like my oysters raw, anyway. Mmm…burnt chips.

Neither of those were the best songs CEG's ever done, but I have to say "I Could If I Wanted To" hit my early-00's grunge, sometimes-I-like-to-pretend-I'm-badass sweet spot and "Heavy Boobs" was, well…quite accurate :-P

Rewatch-abuddies! I've been watching/rewatching, too. I watched most of the first season, part of season 4, and all of season 5 at the time, but I missed most of the middle and had never watched it all the way through. Such a good show.
