I've seen an episode! It was on a really random channel. In Hanoi. As I was trying to overcome jet-lag.

Yep. This is where I'm at now. I got over myself about watching it and now am fairly well hooked. Is it probably a bit overrated? Sure. But not any worse than, say, OITNB…I'd say it comes pretty close to earning the hype (at least through episode 8).

It's good you have goals.

My husband's slept with 479,000 other people?!? Man—that's why he's always working such long hours….

I've been to Coney Island—recently—which is why I was confused. I can't think of anywhere that fall would have been more than 4 or 5 feet (well, from the bottom of the railing, anyway). Maybe there's somewhere steeper that I'm not recalling, but this is hardly California. I, too, was thinking 4-foot fall onto

Ooooh…I didn't know he had the Uber guy on (the show starts past my current bedtime on EST). I'll have to go find it. I'm currently writing a paper on the crappiness of the gig economy, worker health-wise, and Uber's at the top of the list…

I went to Broadway in Bryant Park earlier this summer which was hosted by [some poor interns from] NPH's show. They opened the show (read: delayed the start of the actual Broadway performances until the clouds that were threatening overhead turned into a full-blown thunderstorm) by playing some dumb trivia game with

That's probably the best way to watch it. It's a pleasant show, but not anything you have to pay rapt attention to. In college, it was my gym TV.

I made callaloo for dinner last week and I couldn't help but pronounce it like Caillou, so then I was singing that song the whole time I was cooking.

Went down a rabbithole and ended up at this old, but cute, interview with Danny Pudi—look, Painted-For-A-Sports-Event College Baby Danny!

Yep. I watched it with the sound off to try to avoid it, but no matter. Just thinking of it got the song stuck in my head.

Alison Brie's new movie got a good review….I think?

Is this our new thing now? We wait to post news until after Digifreak gets around to it after work so that he can still feel like he's digifreaking people?

I'm Loki. I neeeeever watch movies.

Yeah, I felt kind of bad because I thought that was easily the best part of the show, but that may just be because he was doing his schtick that we know and love. He'll find his groove….

Now that he's seated, I really find myself expecting him to be Colbert Report Colbert.

Interesting! I actually didn't realize Southland was already in production for S2 before it was cancelled by NBC (dumb, dumb NBC…but also, thanks, because it became a better show on TNT!)
