I would go pick up the K-X for $450. That's what I would do.

I really don't think technology teaches as well as analog. I always hate to say that but I am pretty sure it is true.

You know, this may be the result of some hardball by Verizon with Samsung/Moto/HTC because the branding of this whole launch.

@inanimate-object: But its a phone! People are using it as honking-huge phone!

the tab is just so expensive as is. I am afraid that no android tablet will sell for more than $300 very well at all.

one of the things I LOVE about adwlauncher is the ability to hide the text on icons. It really gives a clean look to the whole homescreen and makes five rows of applications look really nice. Lots less flying around between screens

I think this will finally take off, but I am guessing it will only be a hit for the super mac connected crowd right now. It seems like a no brainer for $100 to connect your iPad /iPhone to your TV seamlessly over a wifi.

Very cool looking and a neat idea. But 3 or 4 big issues I can think of.

@moonshadowkati: Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Princeton, and other similar schools all produce one and give it incoming freshmen.

@Rodsman: The amount of innovation that went into the Human Genome project and Craig Ventnor's work was nothing short of inventive. The rate at which they drove the growth in mapping technology was driven by numerous inventions.

@Sprzout: We had only mapped a small portion of the genes and fully mapped basic organisms by the turn of the century. Jurasic park was a dream, not an invention. An idea is not an envention, otherwise edison would not be considered the maker of the lightbulb.

First take is that the most important invention, whatever it is, probably isn't commercialized yet on a large scale.

Okay, there is NO WAY they can trademark this. "Facebook" is the name that colleges use to refer to the book they give out that shows pictures of people's faces.

Will the touch screen work with oven mitts on? No! I see more burned hands on the way.

@theimmc: But this thing has to draw at least as much as a dome light. So if you parked for two days...dead battery.

Problem with car outlet design, it would only work in transit. Once you got to your destination, it would turn on, and ping home. The cops would know where you had been parked, just not how you had driven there.

@ninjagin: Agreed, it is a complete standout. I don't know how they missed it. Though it may be because there is no camera information or anything attached to it.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I really can't believe this didn't win unless it was linked from a portfolio.

I hope they will quickly disappear.
