If your argument is to be considered valid, then why does Google allow any of the other streaming content providers to place their apps in the Play Store; let alone the fact that they often work with Chromecast?
Android (as well as various apps) allows for screen casting to Chromecasts. It’s not always perfect, but I have successfully streamed content from my devices to Chromecast this way for a while.
